About me
I am Ionel Nistor: HGV Driver, husband, father and creator of custom web projects.
Who I am
I was born in Romania, live in the United Kingdom and split my professional path between HGV transport and custom website development. I enjoy building practical, clear and useful things, whether that means logistics work, Laravel platforms, online tools or personal projects.
My story, in short
Family and balance
In 2023 our son was born, and family became the most important part of my life. I am proud of my journey, the work behind it and the settled life I have built in the United Kingdom.
Custom websites and online projects
Around 2019 I returned seriously to web development. I build custom websites in PHP and Laravel, using Bootstrap, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, databases and SEO. My services are on ionelnistor.com, public projects are in the Web portfolio, and online tools are on tools.ionelnistor.com.
HGV transport in the United Kingdom
After obtaining the CPC card in 2018, I moved into HGV transport. I worked with several companies, and since 2019 I have worked at Culina Logistics, where discipline, safety and responsibility matter every day.
Life in the United Kingdom
In 2016 I moved to the United Kingdom with my family. The first years were about adaptation, work and learning a new system, from jobs in Coventry and Manchester to van deliveries and later HGV transport.
The Spain years
I lived for about 6 years in Spain, in cities such as Bilbao, Santander, Pamplona, Valencia, Madrid and Leon. There I worked, discovered a different way of life and met Tudorita Cara, who became my wife. Spain remains a period full of good memories for me.
First steps into technology
My interest in technology started early through Metin2 and later through private servers, .lua quests, SQLite, MySQL and MariaDB databases, custom PHP websites, HTML, CSS and JavaScript. I learned many things by testing, failing, fixing and continuing.
Romania and the beginning
In Romania I finished high school and obtained the B, C and E driving categories at 18. University was a stage I started, but my real formation came through work, direct experience and self-learning.
